Performative arbejder / performative works

(W)holes and watermelons, 2015/2016

Med Lise Skou baserer vi projektet med ovenstående titel primært på 3 interviews/samtaler vi har haft i Palæstina i 2013 med Sonja Nimr, Islar Jad, and Campus in Camp (a project from Palestine working with Quotes from the book “Feminism without borders”).

(W)holes and watermelons, 2015/2016

This project with Lise Skou is based on 3 interviews/talks made in Palestine in 2013 with Sonja Nimr, Islar Jad, and Campus in Camp (a project from Palestine working with Quotes from the book “Feminism without borders”). We have written a manuscript in collaboration with Dima Abu Ghoush. The project entails the play with the rights to definition, translations between cultures and languages and the right to create one’s own narrative. The gabs and the ”wholes” are exposed to a level of abstraction in order to speak about implosion of the Palestine area in an understated manner.

THE NOTION OF THE PRODUCTIVE IN THE PERSPECTIVE OF LAZY LABOUR

Det er et projekt med arbejdstitlen: The notion of the productive in the perspective of lazy labour.

THE NOTION OF THE PRODUCTIVE IN THE PERSPECTIVE OF LAZY LABOUR

In 2015 I have been invited by the Laznia recidency program in G-dansk to develop a project: The notion of the productive in the perspective of lazy labour (temporary title). In collaboration with a group of youngsters and a professional writer from Polland we will sample a manuscript about the fluxing labour market, longing and migration, based on interviews with Polich workers employed in DK, letters and artefacts from the Polish Museum in Lolland and the Emigration Museum in G-dynia. Our inspiration will come from different Polish theatre –and text writers (eg. Sławomir Mrożek and the sociologist Zygmont Bauman). The final work is expected in the summer of 2016.

Not AT HOME_MED NORMADISK VÆSKE I HOVEDET / _ WITH NORMADIC FLUID IN THE HEAD,  Viborg Kunsthal (DK)

Udstillingen forløber i maj 2015 – hundredårets jubilæum for kvinders stemmeret i Danmark.

The surroundings of Viborg Kunsthal, interior and exterior, is here subjected to the idea about temporary settlement and about examining possibilities of new situations and communities through diverging Installations. At stake is not final solutions or world views, but rather the emergence and development of new forms of spatial relations that characterizes new forms of habitation. The exhibition runs in May 2015 – the 100-year anniversary of women’s rights to vote in Denmark.
